The U.S military suffered its 101st death this past week in Afghanistan. Last year the U.S military lost 111 soldiers claiming a world record. The soldier that died was 36 year old Sgt. 1st class David J. Todd Jr from Marrero, La. David died of gunshot wounds helping Afghan police of the northwest. "The U.S. is now losing the war against the Taliban," said Anthony Cordesman from the Washington based Center for Strategic and International Studies. They believe that they are going to need more solders out in Afghanistan to end this war we have over in the Middle East.
What is happening in Afghanistan is unacceptable. We need to start taking things more serious and sending more solders out there to help. Its sad that were 11 more death from setting another world record. I believe that if we get more soldiers out there the war would end a lot sooner and things will be done for good. It kinda scary that people are thinking we might lose this war against the Taliban. I think if we would of had more solders overseas then all of our solders would be home already.
