A narrative essay tells a story. you use first person and you basically just write a story to the reader. after you have your story ready and down you begin to turn it into an essay. But its not so simple a narrative essay includes features you must put on your essay. For example it should include anecdotes, explain a scene or a person in detail. A good narrative essay must make a point. Writing it in first person usin "I" usually invites your reader into a discussion. show some style and make it lively. Some elements of a narrative essay includes setting, character, a plot, conflict, climax, and resolution. People may enjoy writing this type of essay because they share a piece of experience in time they have been through. doesn't matter if the experiemces are past or present.
