A Definition of Narrative Essay
A narrative essay is written in the first person who says “I”. The writer tells the story and uses it to prove a point. The narrative essay will include characters, events and/or action, dialogue, setting, scenes, and description. The story should be centered around the writer or an observation of the writer. The essay should always be in his or her point of view.
