Definition of narrative essay
Some key points in writing a narrative essay are the story should have an introduction that clearly indicates what kind of narrative essay it is. The author should also describe the person, the scene, or the event in some detail and should put in dialogue as long as u punctuate correctly. You should include point of view and if used in first person use “I” to pull the reader in to the discussion. An essay should be a short story with some style. Try to describe events in different ways. Just get your basic story down, get it organized, and in your final editing process then work on word choice. You have to get the reader involved in the story make it interesting. It is usually filled with details that explain, support, or embellishes the story. All of your detail should relate to your main point u are trying to make.
